Roman Jungblut is a sound and media artist with a particular focus on installation-based, performative, and often participatory formats.
With an artistic-research-oriented approach, in recent years Jungblut has concentrated on interactive light and sound installations, often / primarily in public space. In collaboration with performers and musicians, they also create small- and large-scale performances involving sculptural and installative objects.
In their works, Roman often creates space for other artists and focuses on themes such as identity and technology, as well as social, cultural, and personal fears and tensions.
