About RE-LIGHT HALLEN KALK

RE-LIGHT HALLEN KALK is a festival dedicated to light and audiovisual art, taking place at Kulturhof Kalk in Cologne. The event focuses on sustainability and creative reuse, transforming discarded projectors, lights, and old electronic devices into immersive installations that illuminate the Osthof of Hallen Kalk.

Following an international open call, selected artists will create interactive light and sound installations during the festival week in September 2025. Workshop situations and discussions will invite visitors to engage with the creative process, fostering exchange and participation.

With a strong emphasis on accessibility and community involvement, RE-LIGHT HALLEN KALK is open to everyone and free of charge.
